Turkey Pond Islands (#0-23011)

I must have driven by this little glimpse of water a thousand times over the years. I had an appointment in Concord, so I loaded up some gear to paint when it was over. And I passed by this lovely view of the Turkey Pond Islands on 202/9 and decided this was the day I'd stop and paint. Later in the summer, the lily pads reach past the cattails almost to the islands. This is the plein air painting I did in a little less than three hours, with no touch-ups. I'm really glad I did.
