Blackwater River (#0-23009)

The Blackwater River upstream from the bridge at the far end of Tyler Road was roaring. I had spied a spot to park, gathered my stuff and was ready to bushwhack through the woods to paint. But there was a no trespassing sign. So I went house across the street and the gracious homeowner gave me permission to paint in his backyard. This is entirely plein air. Imagine waking up to this every day!
