Jersey Girls

I love Jersey cows, they are such a lovely soft brown, with the most expressive eyes. This group kept me company on a fine late summer day when I was involved in a troubling life decision. Having this group of bovine companions to sit by made my dilemma easier to bear somehow. I wanted to paint a tribute to them, though they will never know it, in a field far from my home town. I loved how each individual face bore it's childlike curiosity openly. Just what my spirit needed that day, thank you Jersey Girls.
