Last Light, Texas Hill Road

On my way home from an outdoor painting session last fall, I turned a corner and came across the last of the day's sunlight hitting the side of this old barn, turning its dull brown color to deep orange. Knowing the light effect would last only minutes, I took a few photos and tried to recreate the scene in this studio piece.
