Cool Light, Hawkins Pond

"Cool Light, Hawkins Pond" is a studio piece inspired by a plein air study of Hawkins Pond in Center Harbor, NH. I was interested in the lighting conditions on that day, where high overcast clouds pushed all the greens and blues cooler, leaving the deep shadows appearing warmer by comparison.
